Any search for the Knights Templar will turn up literally volumes of material. Attempting to wade through this mountain of information will make anyone’s head spin. The largest disservice to the actual historical Knights (other than their horrible treatment when they were disbanded by King Philip IV of France in 1307 CE) was the wholesale manufacturing of their abilities with magic and mysticism, circa the 17th century and on the present day. So many silly notions have been concocted for them it is at once embarrassing and aggrandizing to claim to be a Bishop for the Knights Templar. Yet it remains a title of mine, even while the women in my life, my wife and daughter, cringe for me state it, to anyone! This is a bit troubling, for sure, but funny in a way.

However, this title, Bishop for the Knights Templar, is not something that I sought out. I knew the actual history of the Templars and I was sharing certain information about the enigmatic “object” known as the “Holy Grail”.

This led to contacts with certain VIP’s who deemed it well to ordain me as part of the tradition. The ordination, as I was informed by the Primate Archbishop, was in the apostolic succession. Apostolic succession is the unbroken hands on the shoulder passing of the gift of touch, supposedly from Jesus to Peter, on down to the present day, binding one to the sharing of the kingdom. However, this kingdom is available to anyone, regardless of this "hands on" touch. See "Why a Blueprint?".

Since the moment I was ordained, out of the blue, random people have come up and simply “confessed” to me, even prior to knowing that I was an ordained Bishop. This has been an amazing journey, and I remain grateful for a grace I could not have entertained, nor sought or expected. These confessions are sacred, never to be shared. I have taken them as a great and responsible honor in service to the soul.

There are two "scions" of the Knights Templar. One was a kind of military order, of which many were "inducted". This scion might be allied to the creation of the modern banking system, and for those with tendencies towards the odd ideas of conspiracy, all things material; active to this modern day.

There was a "split" with this scion and a much more spiritually driven scion, soon after the creation of the Templars. Perhaps this is the one that launched many controversial concepts and beliefs that were at odds with the Holy Roman Church. This scion is a fair bit harder to trace, but is what probably gave rise to "Freemasonry". Again, one can research this topic, ad infinitum, yet never get to the bottom of things.

It is the highest principal of being, in the hope of mankind’s rectification and purest pursuit of joy, relationship to science and understanding and honor for all pilgrims searching for the Great and Holy Spirit, that a few modern day Templars abide with. These few, along with a few Freemasons, have made it through the trials and tribulations to keep this scion well watered in the desert of desperations, through all ages.

I am honored to know of this "hidden" branch of the order.
